She earned her MBBS from Kannur University, India, before pursuing a postgraduate degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Rajiv Gandhi University in Bangalore, India, in 2009. In 2012, she received a Diploma in Reproductive Medicine and Embryology from Kiel University, Germany.

To further enhance her expertise, Dr. Basely completed training and certification in Obstetrics and Gynecological Ultrasound in 2016 at Sharjah University and obtained her NHS Certified Masters in Colposcopy in 2019 while in Dubai.
